Getting dressed for the first day of school should be an easy subject.  Think about wearing your most statement-worthy outfit that has your classmates asking, “Were’d you get that?!” Here are a couple of outfit ides:

  • Girls, try a casual top and distressed or light washed jeans  with wedges to look effortlessly chic.
  • Guys, wear a statement-worthy outfit that has your classmates asking, “Were’d you get that?!”  To pull off this head turning look, shop Zumiez, Journeys,  H & M and VANS.

The biggest game of the year is the homecoming football game! The key is to be comfortable, cool and full of school pride! Look for items you can layer like comfortable denim and shoes that are fashion-forward and relaxed. Here’s a little inspiration:

  • Girls + Guys, custom print your team’s logo on a shirt showing your support!  Something Custom Printed is located upper level near the Food Court!  This small family owned business takes pride in providing personalized customer service with quick turn-around time!  Something Custom Printed uses vinyal heat pressing to print on t-shirts, mugs, iPhone covers, license plates, and more.  Email, call 347-967-9874, or stop by their kiosk to have something custom printed especially for you!  Featured in image above: Girl wearing custom paw print shirt.
  • Girls, another look to be a game-changer is to wear a cute knit dress from Bevello with flat boots from Rack Room Shoes and a cross body handbag from Old Navy.
  • Guys, also jeans are your go-to casual pant; Layer with a button down shirt from American Eagle and tee from Pacsun to cheer on your squad.

The first social event of the school year requires you to make a great first impression.  This is the time that most of your friends will see you in formal wear. Crabtree has plenty of options to make sure you are ready to dance the night away in style. Decide if you want to go “casual cool” or “fancy and formal” and go from there!

Smile for the camera! Whether it’s senior portraits or your routine yearbook photo, make sure you not only have a bright smile but an equally bright and fashionable outfit. Here are a few tips for a picture perfect outfit:

Chose a color that is going to complement your complexion.  Make sure to check what background you will pose in front of and that it does not clash with your outfit.

Avoid shirts with slogans and busy graphics. You’re the star and focus of the shoot not your shirt.

Avoid stripes and busy patterns. Small pinstripes do not photograph well. The busier the pattern the more the picture becomes cluttered.

Chose a hairstyle/haircut that is your favorite, now is not the time to experiment with anything new. Remember, these pictures will go in the yearbook for posterity.

Girls, avoid crazy, trendy makeup.  Keep it simple and natural looking.
